These three women embody my style ideal. Their clothes are and were clean, classic and sophisticated. Nothing is overdone (except for Laura's gigantic Birkin - the same bag that CBK used to carry). I love the lack of accessories and the way that their clothes fit.
From Carolyn I learned to keep it simple. She wore a narrow color palette and never wore anything too revealing. I also love that her hair was always simple and sleek.
From Laura I learned that mommies can refuse to wear track suits. Although I don't always agree with her opinions, I love that she does her own thing and never lets outside influences take away who she truly is. I also learned that the simplest outfit for moms to look sophisticated and put together is a great black dress and a pair of heels.
From Carine I learned to find the best silhouette and stick with it. Carine almost always wears a pencil skirt to the knee ("always to the knee.") Her clothes come in at the waist either with a belt or tailoring. Her color palette is narrow and her hair and makeup are simple as well.
